Weekly recap : Highlight on Serleens

Hi everyone, how was your week. Mine was good. Barely finished z palace with 688 points piloting a Sakhrom Komboka deck, I really wasn't sure I would not get kicked out of Z palace by the end of Sunday. It looks like some weeks are much more competitive than others (the week before I z palace'd comfortably with barely 500 points).

Next article is tomorrow 4pm paris time. I spent a few hours writing it. It talks about end games. I will off when the article goes public so I will only be able to post the links in the socials hours later. You can go directly to the blog if you are impatient.

I want to highlight serleena. I got a crush on her last week. She is not op, but not weak. She is very complex and interesting to play with and against.

Her skill should be broken in two pieces :
A : she is a damage reducer. She reduces the base damage down to two.
Keep in mind that is only the base damage. She does not affect boosts.
She can sometimes even boost the ennemy's damage.

B : She has a meaningful threat. Opening Alexei can easily turn into an empty round because of his miserable damages. Sirleena has meaningful damage : any cards with 4* and more and a lot of 3* have 4 natural damage.

Depending on the day she either have revenge or confidence. Since she is first and foremost a DR, I prefer her with confidence But she is also nice in revenge.

She appreciates going first to be able to play her in reprisal turn 2. And because of her threat in turn 2 she affects turn 1 a lot.

Sometimes you won't be able to play her with her skill. But that is good : your opponent had to change his plan and play around her who is only a 2 stars.

Lichxxt, Oxo are still the two bests 2*. But I think she beats Alexei. Sakhrom has a very complete 2* line up.
